“As a local resident who visits PMMC on a regular basis, there is something I must share with you. The new Java’s Brewing coffee shop is a fantastic addition to tge lobby area. Not only are their selections of food and drink different, but the customer service is phenomenal. While there I have also found out about the uniquie gift shop adjacent to it has so much to offer. Another great article about our new location! This one is by the great Sanatoga Post’s Joe Ziomek!
“POTTSTOWN PA – Java’s Brewin’, the coffee shop franchise that was launched during May 2007 at 296 W. Ridge Pike, Limerick PA, by owner Bob Baretta, has poured a second cup – so to speak – and opened a new location in the lobby of Pottstown Memorial Medical Center (PMMC).
The hospital Java’s Brewin annex officially began business Thursday (Jan. 28, 2010), by selling coffee and other beverages, muffins, crumb cakes, brownies and cookies to a long line of employes and visitors, PMMC public relations representative Helen Guardiani reported. A hospital announcement characterized the new shop as a “business partnership” and “joint venture” with Baretta, but did not elaborate.”

Good news! Matt Roth of 69 News wrote up a great piece about our new Pottstown location!
“POTTSTOWN, Pa. — Hot coffee is now flowing in the lobby of the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center in Montgomery County.
It’s thanks to a newly-formed partnership between the hospital and Java’s Brewin, a family-owned business based in nearby Limerick.
“We invested time in early 2009 to find the right local business partner for this endeavor, said John Kirby, hospital CEO. “Java’s Brewin is a great family-owned company and are pleased with the quality of their product as well as their service.””
We got another great review! This one is from the Phoenixville Dish! Kimberly Kremer wrote up a great review!
“If there was ever a day of the week that could be dubbed the official must-have-coffee day, it is Monday. So, it’s only fitting that the Fishbowl would feature Java’s Brewin’ in Limerick, PA as today’s pick for our Local Market Monday.”

Got another great review in The Mercury!
“At 3:15 a.m., Java’s Brewin’ co-owner Bob Barretta starts baking for the day’s fresh batch of bagels, muffins, and much more. He could probably cut a few corners, sleep in a few extra hours, and sacrifice the quality and freshness of his products — but that just isn’t the way he does things.”

The Times Herald’s Gary Puleo wrote up a great piece about us the other day!
“LIMERICK — As one loyal customer put it, it’s the “Cheers” of coffee shops. Along the booming, impersonal stretch of chains and big boxes on Ridge Pike, the Barretta family has done the seemingly impossible by creating an inviting and friendly neighborhood cafe.
Although the warm aroma of coffee and fresh-baked desserts envelopes you when you walk into Java’s Brewin’, you’re immediately aware that this cozy, family-owned-and-operated spot is much more than a fast-paced chain store.
Expect to be greeted soon after arrival by Lisa Barretta, daughters Amanda and Julie, or husband Bob. It’s that kind of place.
If everybody here doesn’t already know your name, as they do at that well-known TV show tavern, they soon will.”
Good news! We got a great write up by self-proclaimed coffeehouse addict Jim Jannotti in the 422 Business Advisor!
“It’s true. I am a coffeehouse addict. Everywhere I go, in every new town I visit, I search them out. The discovery of a new one is cause for great rejoicing. I’m much more productive when caffeinated. This column, like most others, was written in a coffee shop. The region around Route 422 is, thankfully, recovering from its long coffeehouse shortage. The latest blast of corridor caffeination comes from Limerick, where there’s a lot more than just coffee going down.
One day while driving west on Ridge Pike, I spied a sign that said Java’s Brewin’ in a window, along with the even more inviting word open, beaming like a beacon. Inside I found Lisa Barretta moving gracefully through the first day of her new life as a coffee shop owner. The coffee and homemade muffin (chocolate chip) she served me were terrific.”
We got a great comment on Trip Adviser. Check it out!
“Finally, a great coffee shop in the burbs in a convenient location on Ridge in Limerick!! The coffee is the best you will ever have AND the muffins are yummmmy! Bob & Lisa, the host/owners, are the sweetest people in the world. Try the Modena breakfast wrap.”

We were featured in the Valley Item! Check out an excerpt below:
“Art students in the Perkiomen Valley School District are holding a show that draws from a bigger crowd than a school.
From Nov. 26 through Dec. 5, the best artwork the school district has to offer will be on display at Java Brewin’ in Limerick. Perkiomen Valley Art Chair and Evergreen Elementary School art teacher Danielle Stubbs said each school in the district will contribute between five to six pieces of work for the show. And since the district comprises students in kindergarten through high school, Stubbs said the range of experience will vary as much as the media – oil pastels, paintings, drawings some 3-dimensional media and some graphic design pieces from the high school.”
